'Felt Through Contact' - Viltkontaktgroep 20 Years On

This is the current exhibition at Farfield Mill, which is on until 21 April.  I actually went to see the exhibition a few weeks ago - Viltkontaktgroep is the Dutch Felting Association formed in 1991with ten members and now there are over 500 members who meet twice a year in different parts of the Netherlands.
Swine - Ditty van der Elst
Farfield Mill is the only place in the UK hosting this exhibition showing the work of 53 of the members of Viltkontaktgroep.
Dress - Charity Van De Meer
There is a wide range of items on display from wall hangings, pots, ball dresses, curtains, jewellery showing all sorts of felting techniques.
To the West of the Sun - Elly Poldervaart
I'm just showing a few of the pieces I enjoyed - but there are many other inspiring pieces.
Open Space in Woods - Adrian Salome
Hedgehog - Ditty van der Elst
Large Wall Object No 5 - Kitty Korver
Durable Coat - Karin Goeman
Worth a visit if you are in the area.
